Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer as well as a writer. She is most famously recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she launched her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway shows before going famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she recorded her first album of music, It's The right time to Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Big Acre, a drama movie released in 1958.The film received a crow's-foot of acclaim and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In that time, she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The role that she was most famous for came through in 1964 after she joined CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise performed a superb job juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also appeared in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she's also earned an impact by being a successful and acclaimed director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural in addition to The 100. Her birthplace was Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent the majority of her childhood and teenage years. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there since.
