Zoe-perry
Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback), her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. She was not allowed to perform by her parents until she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the stress it would create. Perry was a shy teenager and was not a performer. Her first acting experience was in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends as she transferred to the university from Boston University. Following her graduation, Perry moved into New York to search for television work landing small roles on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought the actress back to California which is where she discovered acting work. She performed on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, Perry starred in the role of a political thriller Scandal along with her father. That same year her character was cast the younger character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again portraying a younger model of the mother's. The character was picked via auditions having a strong association with it.
