Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in America. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in a family of artists located in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was declared as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out.
